| Expressions Boutique, now celebrating its 15th year inside the mall at 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue in Foggy Bottom, is a special boutique with staying power and two locations under one roof. Expressions Boutique is well known in the city for its unique and hip line of apparel for young women. One of its two boutiques sells a wide array of accessories, jeans, shoes and casual clothes while its companion store across the hallway carries a fine line of business suits with an upscale accent. The boutique is owned and operated by Hamid.
Hamid has his own designer style and clothes and prides his alterations and designs on the French cut and look. Women come from all over the world to buy his clothes, but he says most of his loyal customers are from Foggy Bottom, particularly from GW, the World Bank, and downtown law firms.
